12 weeks old!!!

Grady is 12 weeks old!! Hard to believe. We are still having so much fun! A dear friend told John just this week that just when you think that THIS is the best stage of babies, they grow into the new "stage" and you think that it is the best! This wise thought made me so excited because lately I have been thinking that this phase has to be the best. And to think, the next phase might be even better?!?! I often tell Grady to not grow up!

We have made some new friends that live just around the corner from us, Jake and Amanda, that are from Texas! It has been so great having some comrades that know exactly what it's like to move here from Texas. After 4 years here, they are still on the quest for good mexican food, or I guess really Tex Mex. Kinda disappointing to know that Mexican food is so different here. We tried a place this weekend...it was just ok...we sure do miss Uncle J's! Jake's hobby is photography and he offered to take pics of Grady. This is what we got!!! He is amazing! We are so thankful to have these! Grady was a good subject, I must say. He has gotten to where he knows what my camera and my phone look like and seems to never perform when I try to catch it on film! Well, he didn't know what Jake's big fancy camera and lenses were, so he smiled and laughed away!

One of the latest things is that Grady has found his hands! And they are sooo interesting to him! He just stares at them, twisting them around and moving them back and forth. Pretty cute!

He really is a happy baby...he has his serious faces and times, but overall he is pretty smiley and happy. He giggles and laughs all the time! Here is a video that I managed to sneak in of he and daddy laughing at each other...sorry for the weird camera angle, but I had to be discreet!

Big milestone...Grady rolled over!!! He loves to be on his tummy and he has a really strong neck and back. And his little tummy is as hard as a rock...nothing but muscle! So the other day, Diane was here and Grady was on his tummy. When she looked down to check on him, he was is in the process of rolling over onto his back. At first I wondered if it was just a fluke, but he did it 4 more times right after and has since done it several more!
