We had a great Christmas...My mom and Whit and Adam came for a week each and Nicole was here! We had sweet time with family, toured all over the area, cooked and ate lots of good food, and opened lots of presents.
A recap of Christmas 2012...
Grady loves hot chocolate! His chocolate face says it all. Special treat getting to drink it out of the Spode Christmas mug!
These silly glasses were a hit...on everyone EXCEPT G! He didn't want to wear them!
I love this photo of Henry, because it reminds me of one of my favorites of G...Grady was younger in this image, but you sure can tell these two are brothers! Sometimes they look very different (well, maybe "very" is extreme), but other times Henry will do something and it reminds me so much of when G was a baby.

Santa made a special trip to Nana and Papa's house the week before Christmas...he even brought some early Christmas presents. As much as G loves Santa, he was pretty intimidated, almost star struck, at seeing him in person. He could hardly even talk! He excitedly ran to the train table and watched from a distance for the first few minutes.

Christmas morning, G was so excited. When he woke up and called for us, he had forgotten it was Christmas, and forgot that Whi Whi, Uncle Adam, and Yaya were here. So here he is literally doing a somersault in his bed when he saw everyone waiting outside of his room for him to wake up. We were all already awake actually, because he slept in! He is between not napping and still needing one every couple of days, mixed with staying up late for a fun Christmas Eve party, so this boy was tired!
We used our Advent House this year...everyday in December, G would ask, "Is there something in my door?" Here he is opening the last door to a birthday candle and note for Baby Jesus. Santa brought G a new bike this year! He jumped right on it and took it for a spin around the living room. After one day of getting the hang of a big bike (with training wheels still), he is a pro. We laughed because when the boys were out helping him learn, it was freezing outside, but they still came in very hot and sweaty after chasing G up and down the street. He can ride and ride...the cutest is after a long ride he will say, "Phew! I'm so "sveaty'. And my legs are so tired!"

John grilled New York Strips for Christmas dinner...this is his contraption so that he, his fire, and steaks wouldn't get wet...quite the Eagle Scout!
We got a new camera! We love using the feature that snaps several images in a second, so you are bound to get something good from a moving target (aka kids!). The problem is, you often get 4 or 8 really good ones that you don't want to delete! These are some of them...Happy Boy!
One night after feeding Henry, he was so tired, he feel asleep right next to me in my arms...it was so sweet. I didn't want to move. Love this pic of a beautiful baby sleeping so sweetly. Henry still loves bath time ..just like his brother! We recently have started putting the boys in the real tub together...which Grady loves. He thinks it is so great to get to take a bath with Henry. He likes to help wash him (and Percy and Thomas) and sometimes likes to help rinse him by dumping water on his head...poor Henry. Thankfully, H normally smiles after the shock.
While the fam was here, we covered a lot of Northern Cali ground...To Crissy Field, across the Golden Gate Bridge, lunch in Sausalito, a day in Sonoma, to the top of Mount Diablo (which was so beautifully crystal clear we could see the Sierras!), birthday dinner out, and still had plenty of good hangout time at home too. It was a really fun visit! Can't wait for next time ;)
