Exciting News!

I am officially announcing an exciting, fresh adventure beginning in my life, the launch of my new business...I am now a consultant for the leading skincare company, Rodan + Fields

Yes, this might seem a bit random and spontaneous (which is not my norm...I would normally mull something like this over until it is a big, mushy mess and doesn't even make sense to me anymore), but something about this struck a chord with me.  Long story short, an old friend of Nicole's tried contacting me months ago via email about her business with Rodan + Fields. Honestly, I blew her off, thinking I'm not interested, nor do I have the time and money to buy her products. I sent her a friendly e-mail back, thanking her for her encouragement about Henry (she has a little miracle baby of her own and has been following Henry's progress over the last 2 years) and told her that it seems like she has a great deal going and how exciting that was, thinking I wouldn't hear back from her. Thankfully, my new business colleague, Ali, is very persistent and continued to follow-up, leaving me no option but to have a phone conversation with her :)

After a series of phone conversations with her and some of her colleagues, my interests were peaked. It all sounded so good. I would basically be handed over a business, of which I could make it whatever I wanted to...schedule my own hours allowing me to still be a "stay at home mom", make a little extra money to contribute to our family income each month or make enough to replace a family income each month, meet new people, get great product at wholesale, watch effective skin care change lives by making others feel more beautiful and confident, and watch a pretty unique business model change the lives of others around me. Everything is set up...award winning technology and websites, credibility of world-renown Stanford trained dermatologists, real clinical results, great customer service through corporate, and a very generous pay plan. My job is to share the products and share the business opportunity, easy enough, right?!?!

I have been using the products (and john has too!) and I really like them. I have been very impressed with the leadership of the company and with the other consultants I have met. I get to be a part of a phenomenal team, Team GIVE, whose mission beyond selling is to give back to the world...many of the consultants have done amazing things for people around the world. The stories I have heard about the financial freedom and gain that has come from working within this company are inspiring, exciting, and a lot of times unbelievable. I am hoping and praying that my new little business will take off and grow, providing for my family and providing more for us to give back to others.

Why not pursue my passion of home interior design you might ask?? Well, I have thought this through for years now, and the timing has just not worked out. I will always enjoy working on my home and helping others with their own, and some day maybe that will be a business as well :) But for now, it's Skincare! I am hosting a couple of open house parties in the next couple of weeks, just to get the word out, so if you'd like to know more, please come! I will be running a lot of the business through my Facebook account, so make sure we are friends. Also, if you'd like to talk one on one, I'd love to! Just let me know! Most importantly, don't ever feel any awkward pressure to buy product from me :) PLEASE!

Thanks for your support as I step out on this limb!
