Summer Update...part 3...August

August was a busy month! We finally moved into our new home and are loving it!! We did quite a bit of work to the house and it has turned out perfect for our family. We are so excited to be in. We had a ton of help the week that we moved...though a stressful and tiring task with a little baby, all of the extra hands made it possible and actually fun! Thanks to all of the grandparents, sisters, brother, aunts, cousins, and friends that so willingly helped out that week--couldn't have done it without you!


We had our first house guests the weekend after we moved in...Esther and baby Kate! Such a nice visit! Esther and I had much needed one on one time with each other that we hadn't had in a year and Grady and Kate loved playing together. Kate is about 6 weeks older than Grady so she showed him the ropes! We took Esther and Kate to all of our favorite places...Bakesale Betty's, Morucci's, Taco Tuesday, and Zachary's. Yes, we ate alot! But we also made it around the Lafayette Reservoir. Thanks for coming and come back again soon!

Kate might be Grady's Texas girlfriend! I know she has lots of handsome young gents in Texas to choose from...but Grady is a California boy!

Grady LOVES bath time! He splashes and kicks around like a crazy man! And is not afraid of water getting in his face or eyes!

Grady in his new fancy high chair! I must say, it is awfully convenient! Eating is another thing that Grady does well. That boy can eat! He loves solid food...there hasn't been many things that he doesn't like. He loves anything sweet potato, green pea, or blueberry!
