Summer Update...part 3...September

Had this one done months ago...just forgot to post!!! More coming soon!! I have a lot to catch up on!

September was a busy month...

Labor Day Weekend--Lake Tahoe with The Wagner Family

Toes touching the water for the first time---BURRRZZZZ!!!!!

Wow! This was my first time to Lake Tahoe and that is about all I could say...it was spectacular! We had the most perfect weather all weekend and spent it with such good company. A great 1st "family vacation"! Thanks Ryan, Lindsay, and Baby Jacob!

Yes, I did "get in"...enough to get into the kayak, that is.

The boys cooked for us all weekend--it was a treat!

Weekend in Marfa, TX!

My dear friend, Lizzie, from college got married in Marfa, TX. We had a blast! Grady got to stay with YaYa (my mom) and Auntie Sissy (my sis) in my sister's apartment for the weekend while John and I had some great alone time with friends. The whole weekend was so much fun! We saw old friends, rode bikes, went to a skeet shoot, saw some of the famed art in Marfa, and partied with the best of them! Haha. Not to mention the wedding was absolutely beautiful and the new Mr. and Mrs. Duplantis are very happily married! So glad we could be a part of their special day!
Grady had a great weekend himself...lots of undivided attention and play time with some of his favorites! He also started sleeping through the night (finally!) while we were gone! Yea! It was a little sad leaving him (this was our first overnight away), but with the help of Chris and Em distracting me at the airport, I was fine. It helped that we didn't have to worry about him at all while we were gone...he was in great hands!

My Birthday

Great birthday this year! Got to see Friends and Family the week of, go to a lovely ladies lunch (plus Grady!), and had a wonderful date night at one of our favorite restaurants with just me and John. I also got wear these silly glasses! But I was actually honored...they are the same glasses that my Nanny wore last year on her birthday. I love you Nan and miss you dearly!

Grady wanted to try on the glasses for size!

~~~JOHN TURNED 30~~~
Not that that's old, I can just remember when I used to think that was old! We had a fun party here at the house, the first of many I'm sure. Great friends and family and yummy food!
Go Frogs! SO proud to be a Horned Frog!
(his shirt says "Thank goodness for little frogs!" and he has on a TCU hat...one to grow in to!)
I know we will have so much fun cheering on the Frogs this year!
