I got this picture of Henry last night and I love it! Honestly, this is his face most of the time when he is awake...smiling! This morning when we got to the hospital, he was just waking up. I got to the bed first. He was just laying there looking around, totally content. The second he saw me, his eyes lit up and he got the biggest smile on his face. Then John walked up and we got to just play and smile and laugh for at least 30 minutes! It was so great. That's one of the nice things about the continuous feed over night--he doesn't wake up starving and upset! Not that I like the tube at all, but looking for the blessings in everything these days. He coos and hums and does the sweetest little inhale laugh...John's day is totally made when he does it. Henry loves John's face...daddy can always make him smile and laugh in a matter of seconds. Again, we are so thankful for Henry's happy face. So much to glean from his positive attitude in the midst of such uncertainty. We continue to have hope that he will be healed.
